As we all find ourselves spending more time at home, it makes the perfect opportunity to fine-tune the energy we planted into our personal spaces. Most of us intertwine our activities in scattered areas in our homes. If you exercise, and study, and work in your bedroom, the energy becomes confused making it difficult to rest when the time comes for sleep. Designating areas in the home for certain activities can make it a haven and make us more productive, calm, and focused in our daily lives.
Did you know that we can manifest whatever energy we want, or need, into any space we desire, with our intent? Whether you live in a one-room studio or a 5-acre plot of land, you can set the intent and follow through. Transforming the energy in any space is simple and takes just two steps:
- Designating a place for activities
Pick an area in your home and assign a certain activity that is exclusive to that area and practice that activity in that area. For example, if you meditate, designate a meditation space and make sure to practice your meditations in that space. If you have limited space in your home, you can assign a corner. This is important to begin to create areas of concentrated energies.
- Practice, practice, practice
Once you have designated your area(s) of activity, start practicing. Go to that space and meditate, and only meditate, at the same time, every day. As you continue to utilize that space for your chosen intentions, it will begin to saturate with your intentions and energy.
As time goes on, this space will absorb the vibrations you have put into it, becoming a haven of energy. The space begins to recognize the energy that should be there and becomes influenced by it. To continue with our previous example, after dedicating time in your meditation space, it will transform into an area of Zen, and anyone who enters it will be immersed in its calming energy.
As we continue to navigate these uncertain times, it is important to focus on the things we can control and seize the opportunities for inward growth.
